Answer This Question
A: Yes, but you must hold the spray head from turning. You can reduce the spray to 12ft. Turn the spray head to determine the spray pattern and turn the popup tube to determine direction.
by|May 16, 2019
A: It reduces the water flow, will reduce the radius a little as well.

Q:Where can find install and maintenance instructions for TORO
570Z Pro Series 1/2-Circle Pop-Up Sprinklers?

Answer This Question
A: Installation and maintenance are easy. Simply do the following:
1. Make your connection to your lateral line (supply) using a riser, or preferably, a swing joint (Toro Funny Pipe, Flex Pipe…).
- Keep debris out of the supply line.
- Do not over-tighten.
2. Backfill the hole positioning the spray body in a vertical position and the height of the head to grade.
3. Remove the nozzle and screen filter from the stem by turning the nozzle counter-clockwise.
4. FLUSH the system by turning it on – this will remove debris that may have fallen into the lateral line.
5. Re-install the screen and nozzle hand-tightening to desired spray direction.
6. Once the installation process is complete, you can reduce the spray distance from 15’ down to 12’ by tightening the small screw on the top-center of the nozzle.
7. In order to keep your system running optimally, you can occasionally clean the screen filter by removing the nozzle (described above) and flushing it.
