A: I installed this on that kind of counter top and I put a lot of Sherman William silicone caulk on the counter top and sink before installing it, then put about 50 pounds of weight in the sink and let it sit overnight before connecting water lines, drain and dishwasher and disposal

A: Of course, a drop in sink can be installed in any countertop material assuming it is fairly flat.

A: Mine sits on top of the granite which was cut so that it was just short of flush. I used a generous amount of clear silicone caulking and it is very sturdy

A: I used Sherwin Williams silicone calk. I applied it on the counter to edge where the sink would sit and on the bottom of the sink edge as well and let it set up for at least an hour before installing it. Later, I installed it and put about 50 pounds of weight in it and let it sit overnight before I install the garbage disposal, water lines and drain and dishwasher. It is solidly in place and looks great.

A: All drop in kitchen sinks are usually secured with a thick bead of silicone sealant applied to the underside of the rim before you drop the sink into the hole. Mechanical fastening is usually not necessary and once the silicone sets up, it'll take considerable effort to remove/move the sink.

A: I have this sink with a disposal. Was told it would and does work fine. The rubber in the new garbage disposal is tight and it slows the water some. Otherwise it flows freely through the garbage disposal.

A: Yes...why wouldn't you be able to? A garbage disposal can be mounted to the sink just like a double bowled sink.
