Q:How do you make a warranty claim for a stained sink that was properly cared for? I've called the company, but I'm wondering if I can get my money back, as I don't want to deal with installing a new sink (again) and having it stain (again)

A: Bought mine 3 years ago and regretted it. Not the best quality and definitely scars if you out any hot cooking pots on it. Scratches and stains easily too.

A: As a general contractor, I've installed this sink, and I'd say it's a beautiful sink. I don't know what temp it's resistant to before failure, but I definitely wouldn't put pot and pans straight out of the oven into it. It's acrylic, and a 550 degree pot can damage it. Boiling water is fine.
If you're careful with it, it can stay beautiful forever, but if you don't want to worry about stuff like that, I would consider stainless or porcelain.
Best of luck

A: I am not exactly sure to what temp. this sink is heat resistant. However, I love this sink totally. I am very careful with for example a presto pressure cooker hot from the stove when taking to sink to cool it off with cold water to bring pressure down...I set the hot pressure cooker down into sink on top of another safe item or after cooling it off under faucet ......I just do that to be safe. I also use soft sponge to clean sink with baking soda and dish soap to keep it stunning white. I have the American Standard Fairbury 4005F Chrome Pull-down Kitchen Faucet and my White Thermocast Manhattan Drop In Kitchen Sink and love both!! No problems fo 2 years.

A: It’s designed for a residential hot water heater only.

A: No it isn’t. I boiled potatoes and then set the pan directly in the sink and it left a faint brown coloring. However, you can put a hot pan in it if there is water in the sink. But it’s a great sink. I don’t regret my purchase at all.
