A: You’ll have to ask your local store. I think they said they have people they refer you to. I had mine installed by a fix it guy that knows plumbing.

A: Depending on the current sink's configuration and size you may need to and will most likely need to:
- Clean the area where the current sink is installed to remove any caulking, etc
- Remove the current faucet and install it on the new sink
- Remove a soap dispenser and install it on the new sink
- Remove a Garbage Disposal and it's drain hardware from the sink and install it on the new sink
- Remove the second bowl's drain hardware and install it on the new sink
- Adjust drain piping and possibly install extenders since the new drain holes may not be in the same locations as the current one
- Install new caulking for the new sink

A: The Home Depot Site for the sink notes: Backing for soundproofing. This is for water and for Garbage Disposal. I installed a garbage Disposal in my sink and did not notice any sound difference between my previous sink (Cast Iron/Porcelean) and this Acrylic sink with soundproofing

Q:2 Questions:
1. For this Newport sink what is the cutout size? I have a smaller than standard hole in my countertop. Mine is 20 x 31 hole size. Need the dimension to check fit.
2. Does this have clips on the underside to hold it to the counter?
thank you

Answer This Question
A: The cutout size is 20 x 31 same as your opening. As for clips i don't remember if mine came with clips since all i ever use is a bead of silicone caulk under the rim before installing it and the weight of the sink will hold it in place until the silicone dries and it acts like a glue. I recently replaced my thermocast after 18 years of hard use and it wasn't easy getting it out of the counter top even though the only thing holding it was the silicone and it never moved over all those years.

Answer This Question
A: porcelain acrylic can scratch fairly easy and don't last as long. I change mine about every 5 years. I'd use cast iron but the weight is to much for my cheesey mobile home cabinets.
