A:  I leave the solar cover on thru winter under a winter cover. In spring, put hose in pool too fill. Helps getting winter cover off easier.

A:  Yes, I trimmed ours so it laid flat on the water. Tip: it’s better to trim it down twice or even more, than to take off too much and have a gap in which heat can escape.

A:  Yes ,it should cut easily with scissors or a utility knife. I have had many of these covers in the past, and have trimmed them to size.

A:  Yes. It can be trimmed with a box cutter or scissors

A:  I would think so but you would need to use something sharp enough to cut through the thick material. Regular scissors will not do. We bought ours last year for pool and found we couldn't use our polaris with it on so it wasn't on the pool much.

A:  The bubbles face down so the cover floats above the water rather than sticking to it because of surface tension.
