Answer This Question
A: Hi, and thank you for your question. We have not tested in plastic. If the plastic is soft enough that it will allow the prongs to pull into it instead of bend then it should be ok, but we cannot guarantee it will work as we have not tested it.

Q:I am threading a 3/8 inch bolt into 1 x 1 inch wood. Is the size of this tee nut 1 inch? I can't seem to find a 3/8 thread less than 1 inch. Since the wood is only 1"x1", I was thinking I needed a tee nut that is slighted smaller. Can someone explain what the 16tpi, 7/16" and 1" is measuring? Thank you!

Q:What is the length of the threaded cylindrical portion? The "Assembled Dimensions" values make no sense, and I assume that the 1" value given in the item title is the diameter of the round base. I wish the length of the threaded cylinder part was 1", but it doesn't look like it from the photo. How about a good old fashioned dimensioned schematic to eliminate ALL uncertainties?!
