A: Hello Charmi:
This coop is not intended to be used as a cat run. It is intended as a chicken coop because it has a built in nesting box. It would be up to you if you want to use it different than it's intended use. It does not have a bottom so it would not be secure in case your cat can dig; it could get out.
Thank you for your question.

Q:We just put this coop together and we're a little disappointed. Is there now way to close off the ramp opening to keep our chickens safe from predators at night? We're worried if something digs under the bottom, it would have access to the chickens.

A: Put chicken wire under the coop extending out 1 foot on all sides so nothing can dig underneath.

A: Thank you for your question. This particular unit does not have a door at the top of the ramp.
However, we do offer other products with doors. Please contact your retailer if you would like to exchange it for one of our other products with doors. Thank you.
