A:  We have our sitting under our covered porch. It does get direct rain if it’s sideways rain... and from what I can tell it does good keep the rain out. However the door lets in a lot of water. I bought the plastic/rubber clear door cover but it’s too heavy and it literally cracked the thin wood of the door frame the minute my dog pushed it. So it’s just open all the time. Other than that it’s fine.
