      A:  Thank you for your question. In general the Mixed Brick 12 in. x 12 in. x 10 mm Tumbled Slate Mesh-Mounted Mosaic Tile can be used around the fire place. However it is not recommended for direct contact with high temperatures.

        A:  It would be perfectly fine to install this as an accent wall. Just make sure you install it correctly. This includes making sure proper prep work is done on the walls and tiles are sealed BEFORE and after you grout and adhere them to the wall. Joseph

            A:  I would think so, I used them on a shower floor without issue (sealed with 2 coats of tile sealer of course)

              A:  I would say that a backsplash would be the best choice for these, if you seal them properly and keep up with annual sealing you should be good to go. They have a very rustic look
