A:  Swanstone is a composite compression molded material produced from a homogenous blend of modified acrylic containing natural minerals. The result is a surface that is nonporous, easy to clean and resistant to heat. It's applicable to commercial applications. The product is highly durable, heat and impact resistant with color throughout the product, meaning should something scratch the surface you will be able to sand and buff to a restored finish.

A:  No, this is not manufactured from solid stone. This product is manufactured from our solid surface material, Swanstone, which is a compression-molded, thermoset material consisting of a blend of polymer resins, fillers and reinforcement additives. The manufacturing process results in a product with extreme resistance to heat, impact, expansion and chemicals. The color runs completely through the 1/4" thick material and and there is no surface coating to chip or crack. The matte finish is easily cleaned using common household cleansers (including abrasive cleansers). We have a variety of shower floor sizes available but to not offer a custom size shower floor.
