Q:I am replacing an existing patio door with a new one. By adding this sill pan will my rough opening be large enough to handle the new door and the sill pan?...The old door is a standard 80 inch tall and 72 inch wide application.

A: The sill pan width (length) is adjustable. Note that your door maybe be a 2 X 4 construction with a 2 X 6 extension jamb. You will then need to fill the difference within the pan. This was the only issue I had with this product

A: Yes, you will need to add to the RO if new construction.
Adding 1/4" in height.

A: If you are doing a new construction, then yes, you should add the thickness of the flanges on either sides of the sill pan to the door’s rough dimension so you don’t end up having to shoe horn the door during installation.

A: You will have to cut the front lip off the sill pan. If you look at the installation pdf file you will see the shape and sizes of the pan.
