A:  This product is not a class A fire rated product, but it can hold up to temperatures up to 350 degrees without a problem. It's rare, but some fireplaces call for "fire proof" material to be used around X sq feet of the opening. If in the rare case your fire place calls for this, this is not the correct product. Otherwise, this product will work just fine.

A:  Hello DAAK, thank you for your question. We recommend applying PL Premium or Enerfoam to the back of the panel in vertical lines. Apply screws or nails into the tongue of the panel. Though some customers will just use adhesive when installing the panels indoors, we strongly recommend using both screws and adhesive when installing outdoors.
