The DR188810D stacking drawer is also complete as is but one can be stacked atop another. The frame tops/bottoms/sides are securely factory assembled and should remain so. The raised detail on the top of a DR188810D fits into the open detail on the bottom of another. They should be stacked only 2 high with 50 pounds in each at the most. Any modifications would not only void any warranty but would be at your risk and could damage the product. We do appreciate your concerns and your interest in Suncast products.

A:  The Suncast Storage Trends stacking drawer model DR188810D, has a flip up or down tab in the upper right corner of the frame that will latch down onto the drawer, securing it inside the frame.
