Answer This Question

A:  Great question. Will the product work "yes" but just keep in consideration that the thicker the flooring applications above it the longer and more energy it will take to warm the floor to your desired temperature.

A:  Thanks for the question. We apologize that they double sided tape is not coming off properly. But there is nothing to worry about here that will affect your install just pull off what you can to stick down to the floor, cover in mortar, and finish your install.

A:  No, radiant floor heating mats should not be installed under cabinets. The weight of the cabinets will damage the radiant heating mats. Mike

Q:Hello, My subfloor is made of 2x8 planks not plywood, and on top of this are two layers of tile, (the new tile was laid over the old tile), this could be a total of 3 or even 4 inches high. Will this heat through that much wood and tile? Thanks!

                Answer This Question

A:  Would not recommend for this type of installation, as it would require to much energy to pass through all the layers. Would be best to use a TapeMat or WarmWire under the top layer of tile.
