Q:Can I screw into this patch once it is set? As in...can U re-set the outlet box into this surface?

A: This product is primarily for patching an over-sized opening for a switch or outlet box (cut the hole too big) since there is just a skim coat on the edges closest to the box. Depending on actual sheetrock hole size (pre-patch) an old work box may work but both tabs must catch on the original sheetrock. in order properly secure the box. The other option I would look into (assuming the outlet opening is on a stud) is to angle a screw through the side of an outlet box (plastic) into the stud and then apply the patch.

A: Patented PVC fiber composite material patch that is 6 1/4” x 4 ¾”, .011” thick comes in retail 2-pack case of 50 packs which weights 4.0. Outlet-Patch is also packaged in bags of 20 and that come in cases of 5 bags that weigh 2.5 pounds. A case of 500 bulk weights 12.5 pounds.

A: They come in a few different ways. You can buy just a two-pack or a two-pack case(100 patches). We also make a 20 pack.
