Answer This Question

A:  Yes, it can be wall mounted. In fact, the water connections are much easier to access by wall mounting it. Also, I didn't know it needed a 'pop off' valve but my plumber insisted and I let him put one on it.

A:  The Tempra water heaters should be mounted on the wall. Especially with the water connections being on the bottom of the unit. If you have any further questions, please call our Technical Support Department at 1-800-582-8423 ext 6 Thank you!

A:  Definitely can be wall mounted. Most tankless heaters get wall mounted I believe.

A:  Requires #6 wire. Depending on the model being installed you will need either 2 or 3 wires on separate breakers.

              by|May 5, 2023

A:  We had to get a contractor to install for $350 including removing the 50 gal tank water heater and adjusting the breaker box to allow for two 50 am breakers and do all the rewiring

A:  2 separate runs of 6 awg with a 50 A DP breaker for each run.

A:  Depending on the unit that you get, it will take 240V wiring... meaning double pole breaker. You need to check with your electrician to see if you have room in your electrical panel for it. I'm pretty sure the unit I got required a double 50A breaker.

A:  Endless hot water. The beauty of a tankless unit.

                      by|May 5, 2023

A:  Yes, this is more than big enough. 4.68 GPM relates to number of hot water faucets that are on at the same time, not length of time.

A:  I would suggest you call Stiebel Eltron and review the application with them to be sure you're sizing the correct unit.

A:  Call the company to discuss your needs if you haven't already. There are too many variables to answer you here.
