      Answer This Question

A:  Yes ,it will definitely work. If you said the heater will be right below it i don't see why you should have a problem. Also I wouldn't run both shower and washing machine together. I hooked up a shower, sink, and kitchen and kitchen was furthest it was about 10feet Away and still got hot enough I highly recommend this

A:  With only having a 30 amp breaker, this is the largest unit you can install. Depending on the incoming water temperature, it may run a shower for you of about 1.5 GPM or so. You do not list where you are from so you would need to have warm water feeding this unit. If you are in a cold climate, then I would not suggest this heater to try and run a shower. Answer This Question

A:  The DHC 3-1 is designed to run 1 fixture at a time. The flow rate is .5 GPM giving a 40 degree rise over incoming water at this flow rate.

              Answer This Question

A:  Any Plumber and any Electrican can install these units. The DHC 8-2 would be installed on the cold water line and at the flow rate of 1.0 GPM it would increase the cold water temperature by 50 degrees F or if you ran it at 1.5 GPM it would increase the water about 35 degrees F. Answer This Question

A:  You can install this heater as far away as you like. The further away from the fixture the longer it will take for the hot water to get to there. I have other concerns using this heater with a washer. You should call the office at 800-582-8423 ext 6 to discuss if this heater would be the best fit.

                  Answer This Question

A:  We do not suggest putting a DHC in line with a hot water tank. It can not sense the hot water arriving and will try to make that water even hotter. We suggest using a DHC-E version (electronically controlled) unit so that when the hot water arrives, it can turn itself off.
