Q:Does a 32"w door meet the IRC egress requirement: "provide a clear width of not less than 32 inches where measured between the face of the door and the stop, with the door open 90 degrees?" Or do you need to back out the thickness of the door itself, which means you'd need a 34" minimum door to meet the requirement?
