A:  They are non-removable hinges. Pin will not come out.

            A:  The jamb is wood. Looks to be pine. Even the description says it doesn't come with brick mold, mine did.

                A:  How long the paint will last will depend on the door location and quality of paint used. If it will get direct sunlight or weather that will impact the finish regardless if it is a wood or steel door. You can visit your local Home Depot paint desk and they show you options, they have a new Glidden Gel-Flow paint designed specifically for doors.
