A:  Home Depot has qualified installers for just about everything they sell. Call your local Home Depot and inquire at the Service desk or the Pro desk. It's really easy to install. Dig or drill a hole the necessary depth for the 4X4 and then adjust the 4X4 so that the installed mailbox (which slips over the 4X4) height will conform to the U.S.P.S. specifications. Plumb the installed 4X4 and then place some fast setting concrete in the hole around the 4X4, making certain that the 4X4 remains plumb until the concrete hardens sufficiently. Home Depot also sells the quick set concrete in bags. If the mailbox is too high or too low the U.S.P.S. is not required to deliver your mail.

A:  As the one who asked the question, I will answer it. It's neither gray or tan but rather a color in between the two.

A:  The color of this mailbox is tan and the door to the mailbox itself is gray.

A:  It's beige. I would say more towards tan than gray.

A:  I'm almost certain that you could order them from the manufacturer of the mailbox but it's my understanding, based on reviews of this product, that the numbers provided don't last long. I would simply go to Home Depot and purchase numbers that are made to last.
