A: diameter or length? the tool has a screw in insert that should have a stamp on the side that equals the rivet diameter. most tools have multiple inserts for multiple rivet diameters. You can use a micrometer to measure the diameter, but it's easier to just read the package label. watch the videos; there's no lack of them.

A: Nick, I'm a little unclear about your question. Which part of the rivet are you referring to? My box of assorted rivets are all the same length from the flat "base" end to the end of the pop shaft. The shaft length from the flat base is about 1-1/8" long. I've never seen other pop shaft lengths. The tool can pop rivets of 1/8; 5/32; or 3/16 inch diameter. One needs to change the tip for the desired diameter; they come with the tool.

A: It does not eject the old rivet. You have to drill the old one out. It ejects the pin from the new rivet.
