A: This tool is great for drywall. I wouldn’t use it on a hollow core door. You’re better off scoring multiple times with a utility knife.

A: The teeth on this saw are fairly rough. I believe it is designed more for drywall then wood or plastic. I'd pick a saw with more teeth per inch. I actually use mine for digging out weeds in my flower beds.

A: No. I haven't tried it, but the teeth are too big and probably not hard enough. Unlike a hack saw where the teeth a lot finer and harder. A hacksaw is meant for cutting metal.
