A:  Hello jsandage and thank you for your question. Yes you can cut the backsplash, however, the warranty will be voided. The manufacturer suggests using a wet saw blade 400 or a tile cutter. Please note that the color tone (Avalon) is on the top surface and does not extend all the way through the splash. – this may be visible if the edge is exposed. Best wishes on your project.

A:  Can't be sawed unless you have a wet saw as used for tile -- and if you saw it, the end will not have the shiny finish. Shorter side splash pieces are available at Home Depot -- the back splash has to be ordered.

A:  The splashes I bought didn't need cutting. They came the perfect size in that I was able to find a back and side spalsh that matched the vanity top (Avalon). Having installed both pieces, I think you could cut/saw them. Of course, you'll want to put the cut (unfinished) end against the wall or other splash. A hacksaw with a fine blade (small teeth) should work. The most challenging part is matching the splash to your top. Buying a white one is another option. Good luck.

A:  You would need a wet saw, and would then have a rough finished edge. I'd look for a shorter one.
