A: Hello,
Unfortunately, we do not offer a handle tie for the 2 single poles of the Quad Homeline breaker.
Regards.

A: Not sure I am totally following your question. Only the hot wires are connected to the breaker (black for the two 15A breakers and Black & Red for the 2-pole 50A breakers. The neutrals (white wires) go back to the neutral buss bar in the panel, just like the grounds (bare copper) go back to the ground buss bar in the panel.

A: It depends on your box configuration. According to the mfg, it fits CSED boxes but only in certain positions. I recommend you get on the Schneider Electric web site and read the Homeline CSED Circuit Breaker Installation Instructions PDF.

A: Not all Homeline interiors will accept "Tandem" branch breakers. Do you know if you currently have tandems installed? If you are uncertain, it would be best to get the catalog number of the interior and contact our Technical Support group. 888-778-2733 opt 1 for Tech Support.

A: Depends on your panel. If it will accept the HOM-type breakers, then yes, it will be perfect.
by|Apr 16, 2020
A: Yes, assuming you have a Homeline panel. Two adjacent slots will have both poles of the line, so you get 220 VAC from the two 30 amp breakers. Perfect for an electric clothes dryer. They also have a 50 amp double pole plus two 20 amp singles for running an electric stove.

Q:30 amp 220 runs hot water heater, can I run over the stove (on 15 amp line) microwave at the same time?

Answer This Question
A: Generally, no, each 220V device must be on it's own separate circuit. There may be exceptions I don't know about, but I wouldn't count on it. Unless you don't live in the US. Most foreign places use 220V everywhere and can run lots of things on the same circuit. Food for comments!

A: Yes, This single breaker is just like two 15 amp single pole breakers and one 30 amp two pole breaker all in one package.

A: Yes

A: Yes, please confirm load requirements.

A: If your microwave needs a 120 VAC 15 amp line, then this breaker will work. The two 15 amp breakers are independent. They don't even know the 30 amp section is there. The 30 amp are linked so they form a 220 VAC 30 amp circuit for a dryer or water heater. Note: You must have a Homeline panel for this to fit.

A: The plastic cutouts on top are to short for the cutler-hammer box. Had to trim about 1/4 inch of each of the two slots on top to make them longer and it fit perfectly.

Answer This Question
A: I don't know. Without a professional electrician, your best bet is to remove a breaker from your panel and take it to the store and compare. Look really carefully from all angles. The half width size only fits in certain locations in my panel.
