Q:I bought this as a subpanel using 50 amp 6 gauge wire fed from the trailer park 50 amp plug to a 50 amp inlet box outside my shed. Your comment previously said don't use the green grounding bolt if used as a subpanel. Do I use a grounding bar kit?

                  Answer This Question

A:  Hi Greg, If will be used as a subpanel, the neutral bonding cannot be installed, with this the neutral and the ground will be unbonded, so yes, the ground kit can be used separately PK15GTA if it is needed. Needs to be purchased separately. Regards, Schneider Electric Customer Care

A:  Hello Steve, NOTE: All QO and Homeline load centers that are marked 'Suitable for Use as Service Equipment' will come from the factory with a Green Neutral Bonding Screw, to be installed when the load center is used in a Service Entrance Application. Refer to the Wiring Diagram Label of each load center. The label will be located on the interior sidewall of the enclosure. The Wiring schematic will state "Box bonding when required" and indicate the location on the Main Neutral Assembly of where to install the green bonding screw. The green bonding screw is a Form Threading (or self-tapping) screw and will require a small amount of force to get the screw started in the hole of the enclosure. Remember not install this screw if will be a subpanel. Regards, Schneider Electric Customer Care
