Q:Will this retain 25 amp backfed double pole breakers (I have 6 - 25 amp inverters feeding the panel) in a Square D Homeline HOM612L100F/S outdoor panel? If not what will? This is a solar off-grid property and inspector wants the breakers retained.

Q:I'm looking for the correct retaining kit to secure a 30 AMP breaker to the panel for a generator interlock circuit. My Panel is listed as HOMC30UC Series 01. Will this work and is there any other parts needed - like what the screw actually anchors into?

Unfortunately no, this one secures circuit breaker to interior when used as a back-fed main. For HOM612L100F/S, RB and HOM48L125GC, GRB load centers.
Retaining kit HOM4RK2LA secures ONE circuit breaker right side of interior when used as a back fed main For 100–125 A convertible main load centers, Series S01 and S02

A: Thank you for your inquiry.The HOM1RKCP retaining kit is designed for use with HOM612L100F/S/RB and HOM48L125GC/GRB load centers to secure circuit breaker to interior when used as a back-fed main. The back-fed main breaker must be installed in positions 1 and 2.

A: the farthest left position #1 has a mounting hole on top to mount the bracket too. The breaker needs to be installed at the #1 position before one can place bracket
