    A:  Thank you for your question about the Spruce RL200 Ventilation Fan. The RL200 is typically mounted in the vertical position. Depending on the application, condensation may collect in the belly of the fan housing if the fan is mounted horizontally.

      A:  Thank you for your question about the Spruce RL450 8” Inline Fan Unit. The Spruce RL450 can be controlled by a Solid State Vari-Speed Control rated for the specs of this fan. It is not recommended to use any other type of speed control other than solid state. Thank you.

        A:  Thank you for your question about the Spruce RL350 inline fan unit. The RL Series fans have a painted metal housing that can be used for a kitchen stove vent hood application. A solid state speed control can be used to control the speed and volume of air being exhausted too.

            A:  Thank you for your question regarding the Spruce RL200, 4” ventilation fan. The top and bottom hubs are 4” and will adapt to 4” flexible ducting. Four inch stainless steel worm clamps work best to secure the flex duct to the fan hubs.

              A:  When controlling the speed on this 8” fan, be sure to use a Vari-Speed, solid state speed control. Also, be sure that the Speed Control itself is properly rated to handle the power consumption of the fan unit. Consult a Licensed Electrician with any further onsite questions.
