A:  Our Solar Flare Azaleas are currently dormant, and between 10-15 inches tall. The mature size of these plants can be up to 6-8ft tall by 4-5ft wide. It will take 4-8 years to reach the mature size in the right growing conditions. This plant should be planted in full sun to part shade and you should mix in a well drained rich garden soil with your native soil when planting. These are spring blooming deciduous azaleas so make sure not to trim them until after they bloom in the spring/early summer, because the buds will set in late fall to mid winter.
