A: I have had some of these for a couple years. They are supposed to be a slower and lower growing version of the regular green loropetalum. Advertised as to 3' around. So far mine are about 2' feet around about 12" high. In general, these are shade and sun tolerant plants but need sun for at least part of the day during the summer. I have clay soil. For planting I mix in some mulch and rice hulls to open up the soil. They need extra water for the first year, depending on your soil and climate. A good soak once a week during the summer works for me. After that they are pretty drought tolerant but do better and have more flowers with some water. Mine are on a drip system. The hardest thing about this plant is getting healthy plants, with a good root system. Be sure to check it before planting, open the roots up and give it some root stimulator solution.

A: This plant will mature to 4-6ft H x 4-6ft W. The 2.5 Qt will take 4-8 years to reach that size depending on growing conditions. This plant thrives in full sun to part shade. This plant should be watered frequently until established then 1-2 times per week in times of little to no rainfall. If you have a clay-type soil, I would recommend that you dig the hole you are planting the plant in 2-3 times larger than the pot size and use a well drained garden to back fill around the plant.
