Q:'For non-hot-dip galvanized all-thread rod only' Why is it only for hot-dip galvanized only? Can we use it for 1/2" cold rolled that is threaded?

A: Good afternoon Robt, this is McKenzie with Simpson Strong-Tie. The CNW are not to be used with hot-dip galvanized threaded rod - the hot-dip galvanized rod would be too thick and the threads wouldn't be clean enough to thread into the CNW.
