Q:Can this 6 in. x 9 in. Composite Gray End Post Concrete Bracket Skirt be used on the gate post also?

A:  Well, if anyone is interested, I will answer my own question. I finally called Simtek and was told that yes, these were for the gate post also. The only difference between the end post and the gate post is the inside of the post. So, yeah, if anyone wants to know, these are for both.

    A:  Hello Diane and thank you for your question. Unfortunately the end post concrete mounting bracket are not create to support the weight of the gate. You can definitely go to the Home Depot store and the Prodesk will be able to get the gate post concrete mounting bracket.

      A:  The skirt does not attach to the concrete. I rests over the mounting bracket and directly on the concrete surface.
