A: They can but it depends on what you're attaching them to. For example, we had them on the bottom of our dining room chairs and they wore out very quickly and scratched the floor. We opted for the felt pads on the chairs instead of these. I hope this helps!

A: Hello Ed,
We tried these on our dining table chairs. We were not satisfied with them as they wore out after a couple of months of use and started scratching up the hardwood floor. We use our dining room chairs a lot (for homework, crafts, game nights and of course, eating). So it might depend on the expected use but for heavy use, I would skip these. Hope that helps!
