      Q:We have one large window 80 inches by 30. Are considering buying two small 44 x 38 and attaching together. Will this material cut. Realize strength will be compromised. Plan to bolt together. Not much choice as cannot find proper size

      A:  The covers are able to be cut, however, as well as the compromised strength, it would also void the warranty.

          A:  The 58 in. x 38 in. Polycarbonate Rectangular Egress Cover does come with an installation kit that is designed to hold the cover on the well, but is also designed to easily be removed when applying pressure to the cover from inside the well.

            A:  Yes, the clips are designed to be easily pushed open from the inside. You can also remove it from the outside in an emergency.

                A:  Yes, much better visibility than the normal plastic ones. (I have those too) And no blue tint so the light is much better.
