A: You can return assembled items to the store, just bring the receipt.

A: To adjust the height down you must both push the handle down and place weight on the seat. To adjust up you only need to push the handle down.

A: To adjust height I sit on stool and push down on black handle. It will go start to go up and you can stop by letting go of the handle.
I have two stools and it with a little practice you can do it . ( but you have to sit on the still to adjust).
If that doesn’t work. I would return.

Q:Could casters be added to the base legs so the unit could roll?

Answer This Question
A: No.
by|May 5, 2023
A: No, there are just plastic caps over the hollow feet.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Seville Classic do not offer wheels for this item at this time. We do not recommend adding casters. Item was designed to use with no wheels.
by|May 5, 2023
A: At the end of the legs are flat plastic caps without a hole to screw in castors. Not sure if caps can be removed or modified.
by|May 5, 2023
A: The manufacturer and store would quadruple sales on this stool if they simply bothered to machine 3/8 inch standard thread under each leg, or drilled a hole and added the plastic caster insert, then covered the foot with a rubber cap? Or, include the kit for an additional $8 cost with the leg pre-drilled. It is idiotic and far too expensive to spend one hour drilling holes in legs that should come pre-drilled. With this added roll feature, manufacturing, medical, food prep industries,or home kitchens and bathrooms, who can only work with stainless steel and sanitizable carbon rollers, would boost sales.. This is a wonder, economic stool, but it needs to be taken one step further.

A: No! Although I could not find a way to stop the stool from swiveling, I don't consider that to be a problem, as it is not overly "turny" which might pose a risk to the user. I have five of these at my kitchen bar and love them.

A: Hi Cgn, since online prices and online/in-store offers can vary from region to region, we would advise that you follow a few steps to ensure that the promo that you are seeing displayed would also apply to the item in your local Home Depot store. First, determine if the item is stocked in-store as well as online. You find this by checking if there is a 'store SKU' on the product page, if there is no store SKU number, then the item is an online exclusive item and the deal is for the online merchandise only. Second, if the item does have a store SKU, please follow the steps below to localize your Homedepot.com to see if the item is stocked in your area:
1. Localize Homedepot.com using your zip code (My Store Location: Change)
2. Choose the store where you want to pick up the item (Make this my Store).
Lastly, after localizing, we would advise you visit or contact your local Home Depot store for pricing and availability. However, if you are unable to see the store inventory or price it is most likely either not a stocked item in your area or no longer available for purchase from Homedepot.com. Thanks for shopping Home Depot!

A: If you bring them in for winter and they stay out of moisture, it should not rust too quickly but humidity will eventually get to it.

A: THe stool is for indoor use.
by|May 3, 2023
A: No
by|May 5, 2023
A: I personally would say no to using them outdoors due the stainless steel seat, if it is hot out it would seat very uncomfortable to sit on.
by|May 4, 2023
A: The work stool was constructed for indoor use only. We do not recommend to be left outdoors.
