A:  Howdy Daniel, This product is weed killer and fertilizer mixed together. To us this product simply lightly water your yard, then apply the "weed and feed". This is to assure the weed killer sticks to the weeds and kills them. Happy hunting, Coach Dave

A:  Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed does not prevent or control crabgrass. This product is strictly a post emergent. You can call us at 877-220-3089 if you need more information.

      Q:Also, we want fertilizer that will also jell the moss and weeds in our other established yard so what do you suggest we use in that part of the lawn since it's already October.

      A:  Howdy Neva, This is NOT a pre-emergent. You should wait at least 6 weeks before using any kind of fertilizer for sod. If you want to prevent weeds use Scotts "Halts" pre-emergent to keep weeds from coming up. Happy fertilizing, Coach Dave

      A:  Turf Builder Weed & Feed will interfere with the sod. We do not recommend applying any weed controls to new sod until it has been mowed at least 4 times. To control moss in your lawn, we recommend Turf Builder with Moss Control. Be sure to avoid any newly sodded areas. If you have any additional questions, please call 877-220-3089.
