      A:  The Scotts Snap Pac Fall Lawn Food does not contain a weed control product. For the best results we recommend applying this product to a dry lawn and watering within days of the application if there is not sufficient rainfall. In most cases, weed and feed products should be applied to wet lawn and not watered for 24 hours after the application. Check with the label of the product you are applying for specific watering instructions.

        A:  if you have a drop or broadcast spreader you can purchase the same products in regular bags.

        A:  This spreader uses only snap pacs. It has no reservoir to put fertilizer into, it feeds directly from the snap pac through the spreader. The only other option would be to save your empty snap pacs and refill them. I don't think it would be worth the trouble to save a few dollars.
