Q:What size are the threads on the drain. A standard 1 1/2" female adapter does not want to fit right. It seems odd though because a standard 1 1/2" slip nut like you would use under a sink does fit. Any ideas?

Answer This Question
A: To fix this issues , we would strongly suggest to apply a generous clayey of Teflon tape ( white plumbing tape ) to the thread prior to fastening . This will prevent leaks by sealing and tightening the connection.

Answer This Question
A: the width of the tub's basin narrows from 21", which is near the drain to 16" in opposite area. I returned this tub, since 16" wide is not enough to sit in this tub comfortably.

Q:Some of the other Schon freestanding tubs that have installation guides, suggest that you need to have an open cavity in the floor to accommodate the ptrap for the tub. Is this true, or is there sufficient clearance between tub bottom and skirt bottom to accommodate without concern for additional recessed area? See attached image from other installation guide. Note rectangular area in floor below where ptrap will reside when tub in final position.
