      A:  If you're facing the door from the outside, the right hand lever will be on the left side of the door with the end part of the lever pointing to the right. If you're facing the door from the inside, the right hand lever will be on the right side of the door with the end part of the lever pointing the the left.

        A:  When facing the door on the outside, the handle will be on the left side of the door with the end of the lever pointing to the right. When facing the door on the inside, the handle will be on the right side of the door with the end of the lever pointing the left.

            A:  Hi Grandma! Thanks for asking. According to Schlage, at one point the Century handleset was not available in bright brass, but that has since changed. This item has a bright brass finish as shown in the image online. Hope this helps!
