Q:Installation instructions: the link on this website refers to a totally different style mailbox. I understand the concept is the same, but would really like to know the distance, after being installed to the arm, from front of mailbox to the post arm, so I can calculate the distance the post should be from the curb.

A: I mounted mine from the inside, to prevent someone from more easily removing the screws. I believe it is able to be mounted from the bottom as well

Q:I need to know the true color of the nickel. We live in an HOA and the home colors as well as anything you do to the exterior must match. Our home paneling is light grey. In some of the pictures it looks like Nickel will work. But some people are commenting it's actually darker...
Please advise.

A: It’s a medium silver if that makes sense. Actually google “Tyler garner mailbox” and it should be the first image . He uses the same one in his DIY and has plenty of pictures on his website. Hope that helps

Q:T1 is considered classified by the USPS to be the smallest mailbox at 18 1/2" x5"x6" (which I believe is considered a "medium" size. I want the smallest mailbox. You say this is a T1, but the dimensions say otherwise. Please clarify?
