A:  Hi Zachary, our Small Insect Screen mesh is flame resistant, not flame proof. It passes ASTM D3656 flame resistance requirements for insect screen. We would recommend having a fume collection / filtering system, or wearing PPE if being exposed to fumes. Thank you.

A:  Hi Steve, our small insect screen does not hinder airflow in the same way that our Solar/Pollen/Pet products would. It has a thinner wire diameter to give optimum airflow in spite of the tighter weave.

A:  Hello, Grasshoppers can chew through fiberglass. If this is an issue, we recommend aluminum screen.

A:  Spline 0.140-inch diameter is recommended for the best fit in a standard frame.

A:  I believe the spline size is more dependent on the channel in your frame.

A:  Hello, Small Insect Screen it is not Pet resistant. Small Insect screen is ideal for protection against no-see-ums, gnats, sand flies, mosquitos, and other tiny irritating insects.
