Answer This Question

A:  I pretty sure it won't. It needs a flat shiny surface to adhere to.

A:  Absolutely not

A:  I think you will need a hard surface to be able to attach. Also you will not be able to apply very little weight to maintain attachment.

Q:Can this be used on fiber glass?

        Answer This Question

A:  I installed on my mom's glass shower enclosure and the bars stayed on pretty well. One came off once on it's own. I wouldn't rely 100% on them staying in place forever or supporting a lot of force or weight. Smooth solid fibreglass should be the same thing as glass. Clean the surface well. If the fiberglass is smooth, flat and doesn't move, it would think it would work like glass.

A:  Yes, I have installed it safely on fiberglass, and it grips solidly.

              Answer This Question

A:  I would not trust it to pull up from the bath tub. But it’s great to steady yourself in the shower.

A:  Although my mom's stuck on really well, one did pop off on it's own once. I hung on ours after installed and it held my weight, but I wouldn't give it 100%. If you want 100% I would buy a different product that permanently attaches with fasteners.

A:  This balance assist bar is not designed for the full body weight of an adult or child. The maximum weight capacity is 25 lbs. This bar should only be used to help maintain one’s balance rather than support full body weight.

A:  I don't think it would stay on. Needs smooth so the cups can form a seal.

A:  Yes, just make sure the suction cup doesn't overlap a grout joint as the suction cup wont seal over the gap. If the tiles don't line up with the suction cups at the ends, putting it at an angle should do the trick.
