Q:Is this suitable for use on a Trex composite deck?

A:  Hello. We would only advise against using our rug pads on vinyl flooring because the heat trapped underneath could damage the flooring. With a Trex composite deck it should be fine. Thank you for your inquiry.

          A:  Hello. We are not aware of any tapes to tape the rug to the rug pad. However, the rug pad grips the backing of the rug as well as the floor to help prevent sliding. Thank you for your inquiry.

            Q:Is this pad for a cement floor on a patio? I need for under a hemp rug which flies up when it is windy. I want the rug to stay with the pad which will stay on the concrete.

            A:  Hi Betsy, this padding is used to help with slipping and sliding, however, it may not hold onto the rug as you wish it would.
