Q:I have luxury vinyl flooring. Would this damage it? Do you offer a mat to put under that would keep it safe or should we consider this not really usable for floor. Thank you

Answer This Question
A: I have LV as well as this rug too. If a rug scratches your floor, it's not very good vinyl. I have this rug and it has no effect on the floor. Actually any rug shouldn't damage your floor unless the vinyl is VERY poor quality.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. We recommend to always follow the care instructions on the back label of your rug.
You may also check out our helpful tips on how to clean a rug here at http://safavieh.com/rug-care-and-cleaning
and watch the video as well.
It is recommended that only a professional rug cleaner should undertake a complete overall cleaning and your rug should be professionally cleaned only if it’s a deep stain. Cleaning companies use a special shampoo that goes into the fibers. Please reach out to other professional rug cleaning companies nearest you, and ask questions. You want to give them as much information about your rug as possible such as the fiber content, backing, and overall size of your rug. All this information is on the back label of you rug, and remember be specific.

Q:Can this be used outdoors in Florida, under a covered (but not enclosed) lanai area?
by|Sep 16, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Daisy. While this rug is not meant for outdoors, it can be used only if it does not come into contact with water. Generally speaking, most outdoor rugs are meant for so because they are water resistant in which case this rug is not. If your lanai is covered, it shouldn't pose as a problem but you should understand that water can easily damage the foundation and fibers of the rug and proceed with that risk. Thank you for your inquiry.
