A:  Hi. This rug is made from 100% polypropylene which is not heat set. The difference between a power loom rug versus a hand knotted one is the material used and the level of accuracy. Typically, you would not use synthetic fibers for hand knotted rugs as they are usually wool or cotton. Power loomed rugs are usually very true to size versus hand made ones that might have a variance since its made by a human rather than machine. Thank you for your inquiry.
