A:  yes, you can assemble them yourself. my husband assembled 5 of them. they are beautiful at our bar and very classy and rich looking. this is a very heavy bar stool that seems it will last for years to come. we love them and get countless complements on them whenever we have company.

A:  I purchased 4 stools online and had them delivered to my home, as they weigh about 45 pounds each. Took me over an hour to assemble, but delighted with the finished product.

A:  Although Home Depot does assemble certain items for a fee ( grills, some power-tools, workbenches) they are not equipped with space or manpower to assemble flat pack or partially assembles furniture. Having assembled these stools myself, I can assure you it is NOT difficult at all. In fact, they provide the single tool you need ( an Allen wrench ) to do the job. Also, the instructions are clear, well-written with LARGE pictures. Even if you've never assembled anything like these before, you'll find it easy. And once you have done the first one, the second one is even easier.

A:  Hi Donna. Unfortunately, I believe since the seat is at 29 inches high and the overall chair is 46 inches high, the arms would make it impossible for it to slide under the table. Thank you for your inquiry.

A:  From the TOP of the arm rests to the floor is 38 inches. (96.5 cm) From the BOTTOM of the arm rest to the floor is 35-3/4 inches (90.8 cm) Our counter top is the standard 35 inches so the lowest point on the arm rest ( the curved hand-rest near the front) clears the counter with a bit to spare.
