A:  Hello. Our Courtyard collection rugs are meant for both indoor and outdoor use. They are only 0.25 of an inch in pile height. The rug is not plush, so I would recommending browsing through our other collection of rugs that have a thicker pile (i.g. the Cambridge,Shag). A rug pad is recommended to keep this rug from shifting and sliding. Thank you.
