Q:Will this rug continue to shed? I?ve vacuumed 3 times and a tremendous amount of wool fills my vacuum cleaner. Is that why you suggest to steam it?

A:  Hello! The shedding that you are experiencing is normal. What happens is there is loose wool material and most of this loose wool will fall out. The most shedding will occur in the first few months. Over time, this will be less and less but it will still continue. If you experience extreme shedding it could be due to over vacuuming. I will advise you to use a canister vacuum without beater bars or disengage the beater bars when vacuuming. You should use the attachment to your vacuum and try to clean it that way. Do not use a rotating brush on this carpet but instead use a bristle brush when vacuuming. We do not recommend steaming the rug. Safavieh rug are not steam or iron friendly.     Q:I ordered the sage green and Ivory. Beautiful, well made! However the colors were not what I expected. Sage green is cooler and is more blue? I read and looked at all pictures before ordering. The pic was warmer and more golden.

                A:  Hello, Thank you for your question. The sage in this rug is leaning towards the shade of green, the red is leaning towards burgundy, the ivory is leaning towards beige.
