A:  Hi. The exact dimensions for the 8' X 10' and 9' X 12' are exactly how they're measured. The Home Depot uses the approximate sizes which is where some confusion comes in with the product names. A:  Yes, this rug can be used outdoors and is water resistant.

A:  I have had mine outside since we bought it on our deck. It has held up well in rain, hail, and snow! It takes a while to dry out (more than my last outdoor only rug) but it's because it is thicker and nicer than the outdoor only one. It has kept its color through intense sun and is still outside now. Well worth the purchase and I would definitely buy it again. Photo below.

A:  Hello. Our Amherst collection is recommended for outdoor use, although they can technically be used for indoors as well. They are made of 100% polypropylene, with a pile height of 0.25 which is not very thick compared to our rugs made specifically for indoor use.
