Q:Is there a replacement light kit that fits this fan that takes A19 bulbs

1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: You will need to have a cover cap for this fan that has a center hole first. Once you have that cap then you can screw in any "universal" light kit with medium based sockets, etc. The manufacturer can get you the cap so that you can shop for a different light kit. If you'd like this cap please email monte@summer-wind.info and they will send you one at no charge.

Q:I bought this ceiling fan and it hums significantly why?

Answer This Question
A: They should be whisper quiet that is for sure. Do you have any wall controls such as a fan dimmer on the wall in that room. If on a dimmer it will make the motors hum so check for that. If you cannot get the hum to go away I would exchange as it seems like you're in the in-store warranty period.

Answer This Question
A: I would take the fan apart and check how the housing is attached. It sounds like it isn't installed correctly. Should not rub. If you can't fix return for full refund and get another one.

Q:Had a bulb blow and noticed one of the bulb sockets burnt, removed wires and socket but still no light is there a fuse?
by|Mar 2, 2019
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: There is a wattage limiter inside the bottom nose cone of the fan. It acts kinda like a fuse. It is a little black cube that the blue wire is coming out of. I would just cut this out as it serves really no purpose and then wire the kit directly to the blue wire.
