Q:Can we buy the threshold shower base/floor with seat w/o having to buy the surround ( asking in both colors, Biscuit or white). We are now planning on tiling the portions of the existing wall on all three sides above the threshold assembly, so will not need the alcove surround.. The HD ad seems to say, the surround must be ordered with the threshold base.. We just want the base and seat. Is that possible? Thanks

A:  Hi, this is Laura with Sterling Plumbing. I am happy to assist you with your question. This Accord shower base must be installed with the matching wall-set. The warranty is void should they not be installed together. I would recommend our Kohler Tresham receptor for installation with tiled walls.
